Heemstedestraat Family Practice
Welcome at Heemstedestraat Family Practice, a general practice run by doctors van Praag, van Mechelen and Pieters.
Information regarding the Coronavirus
If you think you are infected with the Coronavirus, DO NOT come to the practice, but contact us by phone. This is to prevent you from infecting other people. Over the phone, we will assess your situation and refer you if necessary.
For any other medical problems, please call the practice first. We will assess your situation to see whether we can schedule an appointment for you at the practice.
Please wear a facemask when entering the practice.
Because we’re currently getting a large number of calls, we ask you to use the telephone consultation only for short questions.
Stay at home or call the doctor?
Do you have a cold or is your temperature lower than 38 degrees Celsius? Stay at home until you start feeling better. Keep your distance from other people in order not to infect them. You do not need to call your doctor.
Is your condition getting worse? Do you have a fever (temperature over 38 degrees Celsius), are you coughing or do you have difficulty breathing? Call your doctor to discuss your situation.
